Fukuoka Airport is the largest airport in Kyushu and is only about 5 to 10 minutes by subway from Hakata Station and Tenjin. Muslim travelers can pray at the prayer room on the 4th floor of the Fukuoka Airport international terminal, and at the prayer rooms of Kokusai Hiroba on the 3rd floor of ACROS Fukuoka in Tenjin. The Fukuoka City Muslim Friendly Restaurant Guide (2016) was made with the help of the Fukuoka Masjid Al Nour Islamic Center, and the prefecture offers a brochure of vegan and Muslim-friendly restaurants. The city guide notes that listed businesses do not guarantee halal, so please check ingredients yourself.
