築地場外市場

Tsukiji Outer Market is a famous food market within walking distance of Ginza. It grew up beside one of the world's greatest fish markets, which once handled over 2,000 tons of seafood a day. The wholesale market and tuna auctions moved to Toyosu Market in October 2018, but the outer market still runs as a community of shops. Visitors browse narrow alleys of food and kitchenware sellers and try street snacks such as Japanese omelettes and rice balls.
