Odaiba
お台場
Odaiba is a man-made island area in Tokyo Bay, popular with both locals and visitors. Its name means "fort" and comes from cannon batteries built to defend the city. Today it has the Aqua City and DiverCity shopping malls, museums, indoor theme parks and Odaiba Seaside Park, central Tokyo's only beach. The 800-meter Rainbow Bridge is its main symbol, and the park has an 11-meter replica of the Statue of Liberty.
