忠犬ハチ公像
The Hachiko Statue stands just outside Shibuya Station and honors Japan's most loyal dog. In the 1920s, Hachiko, an Akita dog, went to the station to wait for his owner coming home from work. After his owner died suddenly, Hachiko kept coming back to wait every day for nine more years. Today the statue is Shibuya's main meeting point and a popular photo spot.
Outside Shibuya Station (JR, Tokyu, Tokyo Metro and Keio Inokashira lines).
