Okayama Momotaro Airport

岡山桃太郎空港

Okayama Momotaro Airport is the airport serving Okayama Prefecture. Its nickname comes from Momotaro, the famous folk tale hero, and was chosen by public vote for the airport's 30th anniversary. The terminal has shops, restaurants, a local specialty shop and a duty-free shop. From the observation deck on the 3rd floor you can watch planes take off and land.

Opening hours

The 3rd-floor observation deck is open 6:00–21:30.

Getting there

Bus from Okayama Station West Exit takes about 30 minutes; one-way fare 1,000 yen (children 500 yen).

Bus from Kurashiki Station North Exit takes about 35 minutes via the expressway; one-way fare 1,400 yen (children 700 yen).

Wheelchairs can be borrowed at the 1st-floor General Information desk.
The airport guide lists a Parent's Room on the 1st and 3rd floors and foreign money exchange (Travelex) on the 1st floor.
