Daio Wasabi Farm
大王わさび農場
Daio Wasabi Farm is a large wasabi farm in Azumino, a place blessed with clean spring water. Wasabi can only grow in very pure water, which flows steadily through the farm's beds. Visitors walk along shaded paths, see waterwheels nearby and can try wasabi-flavored foods. Clear-bottom boat tours are also offered on the nearby river.

Tips for Muslim visitors
- The farm is explored on foot along a network of walking trails, so allow time for a leisurely stroll.
- Food on offer includes wasabi soft-serve ice cream, wasabi soba, wasabi croquettes and wasabi curry. The source does not say whether these contain pork or alcohol, so check with staff before ordering.
- Natural sites may have few facilities. Bring water, a travel prayer mat and a qibla app, and check the weather; mountains and lakes can be much colder than the city.
- Restrooms for wudu can be far apart on trails. Many Muslim travellers carry a small water bottle for wudu.
- Plan your visit around prayer times. Below are today's prayer times for Nagano and the verified places to pray nearby.
