Ryugado Cave
龍河洞
Ryugado is one of Japan's three largest limestone caves, formed over about 175 million years. The cave is about 4 km long, and about 1 km is open to the public. Inside you walk past stalactites and stalagmites, and since 2019 the main tunnel has colorful lights and projection mapping. Guided adventure tours visit parts that regular visitors cannot see.
