Angel Road (Shodoshima)
エンジェルロード
Angel Road is a sandbar path on Shodoshima Island that appears and disappears with the tide. At low tide it links Bentenjima, next to Shodoshima, with small islands offshore. A local legend says that if you cross holding hands with someone special, an angel will grant your wish. Nearby shops sell wish plaques and local souvenirs such as olives and somen noodles.
