Kobe Animal Kingdom is a large all-weather animal park in Kobe, next to a Port Liner station. Its theme is people, animals and flowers living together. Because it is an all-weather facility, it can be enjoyed on rainy days too. Visitors can see many animals from a surprisingly close distance.
Open 10:00–17:00 (sometimes until 18:00, for example during Obon in mid-August).
Closed on Thursdays, but open on public holidays, Golden Week and in summer vacation.
Adults (junior high school and older): 2,200 yen; elementary school students: 1,200 yen.
A very short walk from Keisan Kagaku Center (Kobe Animal Kingdom, Fugaku Mae) Station on the Port Liner.
Hours and fees can change. Please check the official website before you go.
