Hida Folk Village (Hida no Sato)
飛騨の里
Hida no Sato is an open-air museum in Takayama where old farmhouses from the Hida region have been moved and rebuilt. Valuable buildings, including thatched gassho-zukuri houses, stand together and create a nostalgic village scene. Visitors can learn about how people lived in the past and join various hands-on cultural experiences. In autumn there are evening light-up events.
