Visitor information

Opening hours: 9:00–17:00 (no entry after 16:30). During summer holidays 8:30–18:00 (no entry after 17:30).
Closed: 2nd and 4th Wednesday (except during summer holidays), and the year-end and New Year holidays.
Admission: Adults 1,000 yen (individual).
Getting there: From JR Fukui Station take the Echizen Railway Katsuyama Line to Katsuyama (about 1 hour), then a taxi (about 10 minutes) or community bus.
