Botchan Karakuri Clock
坊っちゃんカラクリ時計
The Botchan Karakuri Clock is a mechanical clock tower in front of Dogo Onsen Station in Matsuyama. When it plays, characters from Natsume Soseki's novel "Botchan" come out to tell their story. At the end, the character Madonna appears and welcomes everyone to Dogo. Next to it is Hojo-en, a small square with a free hot spring footbath.
